Are there any reputable Carbine courses that are carbine only? All that I've seen require a handgun. Unless I'm at a shooting range, I've never had both with me. I don't see the need to train transitioning to a pistol if I don't have one to transition to. It would seem better to train to shoot/ trouble shoot the weapon I do have.

Max Velocity Tactical's Combat Rifle Skills and Combat Team Tactics classes do not require a pistol.

Most basic carbine courses do not require a pistol. Keep looking around.
