Check in the IA HTF. A group from Controlled Chaos puts on some pretty good rifle classes depending on what you are looking for. I know both of their trainers and they are top notch.

The specific state might have restrictions on certain type of weapons or mag capacities but aside from that, you can bring a weapon from one state to another without a problem. |

Vickers Tactical is doing a pistol 1 and carbine 1 class in September. You have to have CCW or be LEO/MIL to attend.
What kind of training are you looking for? There are several training options out there and would recommend a basic handgun and basic rifle before you think about attending anything that requires moving and shooting. Most people need to learn the basics before they get into running and gunning. Some people need to be proficient in the basics before they think about walking with a gun. Anyway, check around locally, there should be some sort of firearms training in your area. Also check with the NRA at: http://www.nrainstructors.org/searchcourse.aspx |
