Tried it in the mid 2000s. Didn't find it a solution to any problem I've encountered. I think it was an answer in search of a problem.

Generally, shooting competitions are the place for evaluating techniques. If it wins, people will do it. If not, people toss it.
If you don't see the guys looking for that last millisecond doing it, there's a better way. |

Seems to me that Mr. Castle attempted to invent a "system" based on a technique that has an extremely narrow application. In the end, as a "system", it brings with it "baggage" that is inappropriate in most situations.

The proponents of CAR think it does everything, but it doesn't.
It's good from vehicles or even when in structures with narrow hallways and lots of corners. |
