I did something similar with my homebrew IFAK, which includes the TQ. I can understand why they didn't accommodate the TQ.
The MTKN! is certainly more refined than what I've put together. I suppose I'm wondering if it is 'worth' spending $68 lol.  Untitled by Dan Passaro, on Flickr

I think so: best IFAK execution, at least for my application.
They also have a Micro which is pretty neat. |

Don't have one, have the TKN. I like the concept and think the smaller size is just about perfect for a blow out package. The TKN is just a tad too big IMHO but it's g2g in most of my applications. Wish the MTKN had come out about a year earlier.
I picked up a AWS low vis blow out kit to replace my TKN for a belt mounted option. Like the MTkN it's ambi and perfect for a belt. |
