Buncha young whippersnappers and their biphasic lightning boxes. I used to do cardiac cases with intentional 60hz fibrillation as a routine preference of one surgeon.
All the new drug ads say, "Ask your doctor if _______ is right for you." Those of us that finished training long before some of those drugs often have to hit Google and Epocrates. |

And subscribed I actually disgust myself. Where I trained, we rarely broke out albumin We routinely gave 6-8 liters of LR 3 liters was just to catch up (NPO Time, bowel prep and " they're already dry" )
My current employer is not cost conscious so I give a feel,of crystalloid and also albumin. Sorry for being wasteful, Dr. Watson ( my old chairman) , you taught me better. |
