How does one get involved in amateur biathlon. I've been engrossed with it since watching the 2010 Olympics and would absolutely love to try it!

I'm not too sure about the skiing and shooting ones, but if you are anywhere near TX or OK, there are a few running and shooting events. These include:

They have skiing one here in NH you can run too if you can't ski or there is no snow.
