Saturday, myself and several men from my church spent the day with a church security specialist. Because I take this seriously, I also invited other area churches to send men for training. We didn't do live fire or the like... but what we did do was situation awareness,  observation, and role play training. As the Pastor, I do not expect to be directly involved,  unless I am the target. I feel much more comfortable about our ability to stop a threat now, and we are just one days training in!!!! If you can mention this to your Pastor, it would benefit your church. It has drawn our guys closer together and opened doors to get others involved in the church. We actively run about 325, but probably serve over 1,000, not including a few large events that we host. I cannot say enough good about this.

So I checked with the company and got the ok.Lionheart International Services Group, Tim Miller. I can't say enough!  He has an impressive pedigree, but even more importantly,  you can hear his passion for helping churches. In my estimation, a man of God with a pure heart.
