The Chief Instructor has 8 years law enforcement experience as a full-time sworn police officer as well as 15 years military experience, with the last three being an active duty Training NCO for an Infantry Company. He is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and is a Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor. Our business is an NRA Affiliated Business and is a member of the Association of Training Officers of Minnesota (ATOM).

Our course exceeds the state training requirements to obtain your Minnesota Concealed Carry Permit. Topics covered include commonalities among deadly force encounters, ways to avoid deadly force encounters, what to expect if you find yourself in a deadly force encounter, shoot/no-shoot decision making, concealed carry equipment and considerations, physical and psychological effects of a deadly force encounter, and firearms safety. Range drills incorporate using verbal commands, drawing from the holster, firing from 3 yards to 15 yards, shooting one-handed and two-handed, and conducting combat reloads. The range qualification exercise is comprehensive and practical.
