Anybody ever use an air soft version of your gun for practice?

Yes I have a KWA LM4 gas blow back rifle that I've setup as close to my real rifle as I can get it.  I also use a KWA ATP to simulate my GLOCK with XS Big Dot sights mounted on it.  I do use them to play airsoft on and off but the thing I like the most about it is being able to setup paper and steel targets in the backyard and doing small stages, reload drills, ect in places where I could never do that with a real gun.

I do. It has its benefits and its limitations. Do you want specific advice or just general confirmation that it is a worthwhile endeavor?

I was curious. I think I have more room for improvement just by doing more dry fire practice at this point.
