I have been shopping for a shot timer to help with my training.  For a while it seemed like the best deal I could find was on amazon, for a CE Pocket Pro II for $118 + tax

However, I found the same model at Red's Gear for $107, with free shipping and no tax.  Additionally, if you sign up for their mailing list, you get a coupon code for $10 off, bringing it down to $97.

I have no affiliation with these guys.  Just passing on what seems like a good deal for anyone interested.

If you have an iPhone or Android, there are shot timer apps.

Should at least look at it if it is only to be used for training and not competitions.

I gave the SureFire app a try on my iphone.  I found it was inconsistent at picking up the shots.
Do you have any experience with the others?

Actually, now that I think about it I stopped trying to use "The Shot Timer" because I could not hear the beep.
