I am looking at a new-to-me single stack. I do not want to loose 45 brass all the time. I can get free .40 range brass regularly.

Does anyone have any insights or experience concerning the Sig? They seem to have all the bells and whistles but I have no experience with any Sig 1911.

For the price Id rather have the STI Trojan.  But if you already have the gun...it should run just fine.

I have a Sig 1911 in .45 with about 15,000 rounds through it right now.  I use it regularly in competition (USPSA and 3Gun), and it has been great.
