Yup, same here. Dropped gun too.
popped out of the holster. Started with a heavy prop in both hands, clipped the gun putting down.

Another dropped gun here. Safariland 012 holster and a failure to set the muzzle properly on the shelf. A lesson learned...

Ouch.

Mine was my own mistake. I bumped into my grounded shotgun and it went around spin-the-bottle style and pointed back uprange.

we had a DQ yesterday at our USPSA match. while everyone was still doing a walk thru, the next shooter stepped into the box, pulled his pistol and loaded it. RO wasnt anywhere near him and didnt tell him to make ready. thankfully no one was down range but he still was DQed.

Last Sunday, level 3, shooting prone through 3 different ports. Apparently had finger on trigger guard during reload.

A newbie at one of our matches pulled out his pistol and set in on the barrel (starting position) while people were still downrange taping the previous shooter's targets.

Had a newer shooter prepare to start an el presidente, by drawing the gun while standing in the start position, facing uprange.

I had a dropped gun DQ last month. Borrowed a Limited gun, and the holster was not right for the gun, and we didn't have it figured out, and didn't know it. I leaned forward to scratch my knee when getting prepped to do the stage, and it fell off the holster and into the dirt. RO looked at me, I looked at him, and I said FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUck. (Well, I didnt say it, but I thought it.)

Me too

Broke the 180.

Was a stage that required walking and shooting with a kettlebell in the nonshooting hand. Got to the end of a barricade and was walking and shooting, ran out of ammo. I dropped that hammer on an empty gun, dropped the mag and turned around to get back to cover (we have to be behind cover for certain stuff). With my pistol in a that low ready half tilted pointed down against your chest fashion (whatever that's called) I got DQ'ed.

First stage and I was the first shooter...

I assume you mean "position sul"? I DQ'd a guy for doing that one time. He got the 'tactical' rules mixed up with the 'game' rules.

Yeah that's what it's called.

Gun was dry and hammer down on an empty chamber and empty mag well...

Oh well, them be the rules.

Funny you should ask

Yeah it's staying more physical then it was last year. They were asking about what folks thoughts were on that just the other day. Lots of lifting and running with stuff.

This last match they had shooters dragging a kettlebell through a tunnel. Not throw it through, but dragging it in hand through the tunnel, repeat times 4 times. Another stage had the shooter jumping through a window running that 50 yards to the target to move it to the next position and sliding under a barricade, repeat times 2. Stage 3 was easy, just had to wear goggles that blocked the right eye and shoot left eyed for rifle strong and weak side and pistol. Stage 4 had a heavy create that you had to fight to then carry back and put up on a table and clear a Texas star.

I'm still recovering from surgery so I did do any if that at all. Just walked around with my 22 lol!
