I'll start off with a good one: Area 6. There's some good, some bad. I take the bad as learning experiences. I really like using video because I can relive it, figure out where or what went wrong so I can fix it.

1st stage I was like a lost puppy. This was my last stage of the match. I knew where I stood in the standings and that messed with my head. Good lesson there.

Stage 4 got thrown out, too bad too. It was a great stage.

I've already purchased more mag pouches....LOL

Good shooting. Damn shame about stage one for you, though. And four.

Hell, I think I'm the only person who is happy four got thrown. My run was pretty sad.

2nd OA is nothing to scoff at. Very nicely done.

1st trip out for Single Stack Nationals. This level of match shows that tenths of seconds really matter and every D or make up shot costs around 1%.

Ohio Buckeye Challenge.

First time shooting a Limited gun (that I had to borrow) in 6 months. I'm happy. It was a blast to shoot more than 8 rounds at a time. I love SS, but Ltd is fun too.

ProAm video from Tulsa, OK last weekend. Turned out pretty well. Could have shot cleaner but my gun ran and I had no major issues. TONS of fun though. Good friends, fun match.

It's a little slow to load, it's HD. Thanks to Steel1212 for another great video job!

Ooowee it's been awhile since my last video post. Nothing much over the winter. Shot IDPA last weekend and had a fantastic time. This was probably the best I've shot IDPA in quite a while. Well, I guess it was also the 3rd time I've shot IDPA in 13 months or so. Must be my new home made vest...

I've been shooting Bobby's M&P Pro for about 6 months now. Love that thing. Bobby cut me loose and let me wrench on it like it was mine. The trigger is nuts. I'll hand it to 1911 shooters and their jaws drop when they feel it. Anyway....

IDPA. SSP. In sequence of the video: 2nd stage was a standards stage. Strong hand string was one to body, one to head. 4th stage (with car), first two baddies got two to the body, then one to head on each. 5th - double bill drill with mand RWR. This rest is normal.

USPSA.
Going back to November:: This one is a little painful to watch but it shows what happens when an M&P extractor develops issues. New pistols are now shipped with upgraded parts. I pulled mine out and recut it after this match.

Septembers match had a good classifier. I think this was the one I "hunderd" (100%)

Back to August. First match with the M&P:

New one from Alabama, shooting Production with a W2R prepped M&P. I love that gun! Too bad it's a loaner.....

I saw the latest ones when they popped up in my subscriber thing on youtube. Excellent shooting.
So why are you here then? Why do you continue to take orders while your superiors betray you? Don't know? Well then I'll tell you...

This was our local big match, the Battle in the Bluegrass. Single Stack vs. Production. Last year I won HOA in Single Stack, this year I won HOA in Production. I was hoping to do the impossible and be HOA of the unofficial combined. Nope, tough to overcome the minor power factor. It was fun, lots of shooters came up to KY for this. Steel1212 puts on a good match. Look for it next year.

COOL

Interested to hear more about your M&P and what's been done to it.

I'm a 1911/2011 shooter, I like the way the S&W M&P feels.

I bought one, did the burwell trigger job .pdf, and have been thinking about trying it in production.

I was shooting a borrowed M&P. I ran a thinned large back strap, Dawson adj sight, a .115 wide front I had made, and my own trigger work. Pull weight was 2.15lbs with reduced pretravel and a hint of overtravel. trigger actually felt better than my 2011. I really enjoyed shooting it.

RIGHT ON

I called SSS and had a skinny front serrated made extra tall, and ordered a plain serrated rear sight.

this was before Dawson made the adjustables.

I wanted a sight picture like my STI Lim. gun.

I filed the front until I had perfect 25yrd zero with 180gr. ( minor PF)

I've been so busy with my kids sports, that I haven't shot much IPSC the past 2 years, but I want to try it in production

I've also thought about buying the new 5" M&P

Back to shooting my 1911. I like the M&P, but I LOVE my single stack.

SS Nationals. Interesting match. Not the most fun match I've ever shot, I really enjoy stage breakdown and planning. This requred VERY little of that. There were just a few stages that if you pushed it you could gain an advantage. Anyway, it was a good warm up to the Ohio state match this sunday.

I'm signed up. May have to cancel though. You can't really tell in the video, but I need to have back surgery. I'm trying to put it off but mornings for me are torture. I'm going to give it another week of stretches and exercise.

Ohio State Match. HOA Single Stack. It was a VERY close race for 1st. Steel1212 and I were within ONE match point at the end. Great stages, very fun. In the end it came down to who made the fewest mistakes.

Here is one from our local match. No penalties but my make up shots on pistol stage two was enough to leave the door open and give up 1st.
Fun match. Front sight was the classifier, tough one to move up on.

Indiana State Match. Limited 10 division HOA, won all stages. Great stages with a great movie theme. Blazing Saddles.
Been working on smoothness every since my back injury. Not quite as fast on my feet so I have to make up for it with solid hits. Shot my most accurate match to date. 300 rounds, 7 D's, 1 M.
