The 77 Gold Meal match load is solid. The stuff Copper Creek loads is good too.
I'm not a High Power shooter, but I do match shoot and run my training ammo in a 223 bolt gun and the gold medal match load provides solid results for me. |

Black Hills 77 gr TMK. Outstanding stuff. Shoots inside my 80 gr SMK loads.

Atlanta Arms used to make ammo for the AMU, particularly what was dubbed the AMU load (based on the Berger 73gr, and then another on the SMK 77gr). I am not sure if they still do contract ammo for the AMU now.
While the Federal GMM 77gr is accurate, it is actually quite slow MV. The 77 can be pushed hotter and still stay accurate. |

FWIW the best groups I've shot with my precision AR (16" Rainier/Rock Creek 5R) was with ADI 69gr, shot better than Black Hills 77gr

My vote goes to....Black Hills, in various bullet weights. Reloaded for practice and Match use. Maybe the Factory Loads for Match use, but the reloaded is really good enough for BOTH!
