Yeah, you'd think I'd have known about it living where I do. Haven't heard anything about it. Maybe it's in Missouri. Silly Yankees.

I'll be there. This is my second year, the first year was a HUGE learning experience, so hopefully I am much better prepared for a major match such as this one.

It was a VERY good time last year, even though my shooting and equipment were not quite up to par.

The SoCal crew will be there so looking forward to our first Ozarks match with you guys.
Hopefully, my Z6i won't crap out. It fell off the kitchen table this morning and screwed up the zoom ring and knocked off the zero. I re-zeroed it today so hopefully, it'll hold. I need to treat this thing like a Ferrari and baby it more... geez.

Second year for me also. Extended weather forecast shows highs near 80°F all three days. It has been very dry in my part of the state, so not sure if mud will be an issue this year or not.

To the repeat timers, should we prep with some tick spray and long pants?

Tick & chigger spray would be recommended. I wore long pants last year. Long pants are helpful when resetting targets in some grass and brushy stages and laying on or trying to sit on props, . It did get rather warm on some stages in the afternoon surrounded by trees.

I didn't have any ticks on me last year, but that's not to say they were not around.

The poison ivy is VERY prolific. If you are at all allergic, I suggest some ivy blocker, and something to scrub the oil off with.
