Got some vacation time that I have to use between now and the end of May.
I'm looking for some quality tactical training near PA that I could get into.
I've taken a handful of classes before, most from alias training.
I want something of quality.
Alias doesn't have much close to me or available to me form now to May.
I checked out northern red, Vickers, tried looking around but I came up empty handed.

Carbine would be cool, shotguns, precision rifles, vehicle stuff would be awesome.

(Hopefully I don't piss some people off here) I don't have a ton of money so when I spend money for training I want to know it is well spent.
So I want to take a class taught by someone who actually did the work for a living. I don't want class taught by a self proclaimed expert (not that he couldn't be well trained. I don't mean any offense, but would you rather train with a world champion boxer or a boxer who only fought a couple of times? I also don't want flashy bullshit, I want to know that these are skills that I can depend my life on.)

Anyways hopefully you guys can help me out. I'd appreciate it.

Depending on where you are in the state......

If you are in Eastern PA, I have had great training with Rockwell Tactical.  Classes are taught by a former green beret (current national guard) guy and his crew - mixture of active duty guys, competition shooters, medics, etc.

If you are in Western PA, I have been looking hard at 3 River Tactical for some training.  Just know they have been pretty well reviewed and they always seem to do after action reports that describe what the classes did and it looks pretty good.

I know Suarez does some trainings in the state as well as several other trainings outfits.  I literally just googled carbine trainings in PA when I started looking before I took any classes.

Disclaimer: Neither of these may be your cup of tea, but just my experience and they fit what I was looking for.

Hello,
Here is a link to Pittsburgh training schedule via Anti-fragile's website.
http://www.anti-fragile.net/course.php

They have some big names booked.  I took a Shivworks ECQC that anti-fragile hosted this past year.  Can't say enough about that course.
