I have boiled it down even further. Reload- when you have to. Mag swap- when you want to.
I try to keep it simple. Too many monikers with the same last name of RELOAD. (Tactical, Emergency, Slide Lock, With Retention, Sustained, Admin, Speed, Empty-Empty, Normal, etc.) There are people out there that say the mag swap will never occur and we shouldn't train for it. I have used and train to use it again. Thanks for the link. |

Honestly, IMO this is part of what's wrong with the training industry today with so many trying to "commercialize it". Take a rather simple concept or principle and "improve it" to the point of confounding our ability to exchange and share information. Reminds me of the biblical story of the tower of babel. IMNSHO, it reflects a level of immaturity in the training industry that has no place in the art form of self defense. |
