I am a Firearms Instructor / Training Specialist at a DOE Facility in Idaho. I have been tasked to find a firearms course / instructor course to bring to a local site for some of us instructors to 'keep the edge sharp'.

Looking for competent, well-credentialed, pertinent instructors. Advanced Carbine / Advanced Pistol level.

I will be contacting:

Gunsite

Costa Ludus

Hayley Strategic

Steve Reichert

The Craft

Any other ideas? Or anyone members here can fulfill the training need? Budget is ~10k. Class size would be 10-15.

Please respond with suggestions, or IM me for contact information.

Costa is almost local to you now so he might be able to do it short notice

Pat Rogers/EAG was the first name to pop into my head.

I think he could provide what you want, but I am not sure he still travels that far West.

Couldn't hurt to contact him and ask.

From first hand exp, I would steer clear of Jason Falla for many reasons.

Bennie Cooley of CRTC and John Chapman of LMS Defense are both localish to you (will help you get more training for your dollar as you are not paying nearly as much for their travel expenses) and are great instructors that will custom build a course based on your needs.

As already mentioned, Pat Rogers and also check out Randy Cain
Randy has done work with the DOE in the past, and is by far the best instructor I've ever had in ANY subject matter.

Look up Jeff Gonzales of Trident Concepts.  He takes his 'show' on the road and will be in my 'backyard' in about three weeks for a level ll carbine class.  Your class size and needs appear to coincide with what he offers.
