Is everybody upstate? What about us southern-even-more-behind-enemy-lines-NYers?
For the down state crew, I'm sneaking out for for a range session Tuesday or Wednesday at Blue Mountain if anyone wants to meet up. I'm bringing some steel targets, too, so if any arfers want to bang tiny diamonds at 200 yards, let me know (I'll probably be there 10 or 11 till 4:00). |

Any Long Islander's around? A couple of decent outdoor ranges, one good gun shop that would get my hard-earned dollars, and a bunch of pickle park and rides to meet up, if anyone's interested.

Which Cabelas? Beefarow? If we're gonna do a road trip, might as well go to a better one outside of NY, and spend our money more wisely. For that matter, we could hit a few gun shops. I know Ed's Sport Shop in Tamaqua PA is good, and we could hit the PA Beikirch's, too. If we are all coming from different directions, what do we do, have different carpools all link up for breakfast near Binghamton? So I've been looking into camping sites down towards Hamburg, PA, thinking we could do a little hiking, overnight, and hit cabelas. Alcohol is forbidden in all PA state parks. What a revolting development... |

I love my sumo too, but at least for me a thumper would get old as an only bike. The Hyper isn't a real supermoto, but is almost as crazy as one but can also be used as an actual motorcycle as well.

I'll be there too FP1201 - LRB is in Floral Park, about 20 miles from Melville, or around a half-hour drive with traffic. Doesn't matter, though, their website shows their hours as Monday through Friday only. FP1201 & MAG162 - That whole area is a business hub, most places to eat are closed on Sundays with few exceptions. There's an okay diner (Sweet Hollow Diner) that's only a few minutes North on the same road as the hotel. Aside from that, there are some chain places like Chipotle and TGIFriday's within reasonable driving distance. If those don't work, let me know and I can find something open on Sunday with good food that won't empty the wallet. |

TONS of camp sites, cabins (almost impossible to reserve) boating, fishing, hiking and a beach. Keep the beer hidden and don't get wild and they don't say much! YES, KEEP THOSE DOGS ON LEASH! Bill |

With past meetings, we driven down the afternoon before, stayed helped with setup, worked the event, then gone home. Since it's a good seven hours, chances are we'll stay Sunday night too, just depends on how whipped we are. |
