We shall meet and hunt together on public land. I can bring a few 7F tags to share. Lets get some meat in the freezer. Who's with me?

I'm in, I have a couple of 7F tags also! I also know of a certain mancave/garage where the days events can be discussed afterwards over some adult beverages.

My wife scheduled a dinner party that night, so I will miss out on the man cave spooning or whatever.

Carl, I'm hesitant to say where exactly we are going on this public forum; call me paranoid if you wish. Just think, northern portion of 7f.

It's my Saturday to be "on call" however IF I can find someone to cover, I'd like to go.
Do you need/can you use a 4wheeler there? (I know you can't hunt from one)
All the Deer I've seen were in the headlights.

Where are you guys hunting? From a quick check of where 7f is, it looks like you are about 4 hours from me. However, based on how shitty my season has been up here, I may look into doing something if you think there are deer out there.

I'm not saying there aren't any Deer in 7F, but shooting them in a residential area doesn't usually go too well....or are we talk'n the bricks?

2015 ARFHunt is in the books, all in all it was a fun day! With about 6 hours sleep in the last 3 days I was about to nod off when 41mag started to light up the woods. Put one down and led chase to another. Crash and 41 trailed it into a very thick swamp but no luck in finding the beast. Thanks to HSFL for the very tasty sausage from his buck on opening day and the venison teriyaki sticks penrod brought over, yum.

Crash and his brother made the trip down from the north country, nice to have met you guys. As for the group photo, someone decided to strike a pose...

Great to meet you guys as well. After a couple of the scariest hours of my life in 41mags treestand it was good that somebody did some shooting. I would have loved to found the other deer but the swamp claimed that one I think. Always good to meet some fellow gun people/hunters and exchange stories. Next time we'll have to make it a long weekend with a range trip possibly. Thanks once again for the invite and the great sausage, sticks and chili.

I believe that deer survived. I think my gun was shooting slightly to the right, and based on the blood, how long it bedded, and what little blood was in the bed, how fast it ran after being jumped...non fatal wound. It sucks and I hate it, but oh well.

After your little tutorial, I'm putting the "butt out" on my Christmas list.

I think that deer survived as well. My comment was more that the swamp made it impossible for us to get to it. If I had to bet I would say probably brisket shot. That would give the bright red blood.
