Yep, the detachible magazine outside the pistol grip leaves you no other option really

Summary of some rules regarding semi auto pistols:
Max weight 50 ounces Can not have mag attached outside pistol grip ( this one is a real laugh as most all Olympic style competition bullseye pistols have mags outside the grip, making something like a Walther gsp /osp illegal under the safe act!) So as mentioned any AR based pistol with a detachable mag is a no go |

I'd say install a mag-lock, put it on your pistol permit, good to go.
