Does anyone besides Penrod72 ride in the Syracuse area? We both have dual sports so we have done some trail riding but I'm up for cruising back roads as well.

either no one else here has a bike, or they heard how rides with you end up!

If anyone has a side car, I can scrounge up some goggles and leather helmet. Imitation crabmeat...but REAL butter!

Harley switchback rider here, anyone in the Glens Falls region wanna ride?
|
|
I sold my dual sport a couple of months ago because I couldn't figure out were to ride it in CNY.
Now I just have a dirt bike and a road bike. There are a good amount of hare scrambles within reasonable distance. I do see a few smaller DS bikes out there, but weight is the enemy out on those trails. If there are some good DS routes please post. I am always looking for an excuse to buy more bikes. |

I've got a KLR 650 but haven't found a place to take it off road yet. I'm in the Rochester area if anyone is near and knows a place.

Come to Syracuse and head North.
That Panigale makes me feel funny in my gym shorts. |
|
I saw an older couple on what looked like a pimped out GoldWing, she was in a sidecar. She had a purple helmet with stars on it.
I was jealous as fuck.... |
|
Kid on the next road over has a dirt bike he goes in circles on a 5 acre field for hours. Wish had a place to ride but everything around here is locked up. Plenty of snowmobile trails but they all go through farm fields so they're not welcome.
I used to want an Enduro real bad. Later I wanted a Harley Fat Boy. Saw my first helmet on the side of the road at a accident scene and figured to leave it alone for now. It's always the other ass hole that takes you out. That and I can use the money elsewhere for now keeps me out of the bike thing. |

There are public access atv trails in St lawrence county that are (I think) legal for dirt bikes. No guns allowed! ha ha fucking Ny is retarded. Riding or driving off road is as bad as guns even upstate unless you know someone. people pay to use off road jeep and atv parks when there are miles of worthless fields and woods that are just empty. Reeeeeeeedickyoulous

When you get straightened out, let me know when you want to ride the 22, 121, 301 from Kensico Dam to Cold Spring. It's a decent ride, shorter than your pioneer trail. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If I'm out that way, it's at the NYST.
But if a decent street ride develops, I might make the journey |

Used to ride hard before having a family and having to "adult" all the time. Now I spend more time on the lawn mower. |

I am adding 20mm ammo cans and a new seat to my bike. Headed to Maine for Labor Day weekend

Just did 850 miles and back - through MA and NH to ME. Let me tell you about the freedom in ME - no fucking helmets while open carrying Glock 17s with 33rd magazines with proof of citizenship as your CCW. And cheap lobster fresh from the ocean. America at its best.

I'll be on a new Hypermotard next year. That's the spirit... Or should I get an 899 Panigale? It's a great street bike but just about useless for any sort of adv type riding unless ofcourse you're ballsy and slap on a brush guard and some tkc-80's. |
|
I ride in the Adirondacks. Just hit 3000 miles so far this year on my ride to work today.
'03 KLR. I am over on ADVrider but don't post much... Unfortunately most of my riding is commuting to and from work |
