The problem with striking something down for vagueness is that they can just do it again with specifics. It gives a short term victory, but the long term is unaffected.

So what does this actually mean, if the second circuit rules unfavorably this is the supreme court case to watch? Or is this just a similar case and NYSRPA will have to bring their own supreme court case?

The ISRA case is farther along than the other black gun cases in other states. We need to see if SCOTUS accepts it.

If there is a universe where the 2nd Circuit does anything but applaud the SAFE Act, I don't think that's the dimension I live in. Although how they save that wacky 7/10 restriction, I don't know, but I bet they do.
