Starting to see more and more of this here in CNY. These pathetic low life scum should have the same done to them!

A very similar cruelty case happened shortly before Christmas in the opposite side of Oswego county, the pooch that survived has made a full recovery and has been adopted.

Im not sure what they have in the shelter now but I will let you know. This girl is doing good, she is expected to make a full recovery, They have had a lot of people inquiring about her already.

"Drop-off" cats seem to be a problem here.
Keep in mind that not all cases of "neglect/abuse" really are or are intentional, and many people equate animals better than humans; don't get me wrong, I've no tolerance for the truly criminal acts, only that not everything is as it appears.

To me the Amish are hard on their Horses, but in reality it's a very valuable animal upon whom they depend, so it's well taken care of.

I'd like a Dog, but as close to getting one is going to be borrowing the neighbors Shepherds....they go spastic whenever they see me, I suppose those Milkbone's have nothing to do with that.

When people stop hurting people, the animal issue will take care of itself.

MINE IS A RESCUE , he is black lab and American staff. The smartest , most loving, loyal dog i have ever had the honor of sharing a house with. Some times he even lets me on his FURniture
people who hurt dogs do not deserve to walk the same gound..

Another dog has been left in the same place Hope and Cally were found. The original owner has come forward with the one who may be responsible.

As for the ones responsible for Hope and Cally, they have been charged with 2 counts of abandonment each, misdemeanors and 3 years’ probation. They will not be allowed to own a pet for 3 years and will have to pay court fees. They will be back in court on June 17th to be sentenced.

The laws need to be changed, these charges are just not adequate justice!

Stuff like this really gets my blood boiling. And the consequences are a joke. Some probation and not being allowed to own an animal for three years? Big deal. Make it years in prison and no owning animals for life.

This boy just went up for adoption, German Shorthaired Pointer. He came in as a stray, had a training collar on but no one has come in to claim him. They have named him Mickey.
