Either is fine. You will need the Thorsden stock. No bayo lug, pistol grip, muzzle device or barrel threads. And no mags over 10 rounds. No guarantee that the Thorsden stock will stay legal either, there is no one that will officially say what is legal or not

If I was a moderator I would give timeouts to people who consistently write poorly. I have bad ideas, but at least they are spelled correctly. |

I already own numerous bolt guns. I know the laws or let me re fraise that the codes to witch most people believe to be laws. We don't know you, your background, which news agency you write for (Rolling Stone judging by your spelling), or anything. Really I have no idea what you were looking for. Was there even a coherent question in the OP? Smith vs. Wimdham? If you want a cheap AR buy PSA. If you want a good AR buy Adams Arms. |

You joined one where all the regular members are really good guys, but are all suffering from battered wife syndrome living in this state.
Seriously, everyone here is a hard core gun loving guy, and we have been beaten, and beaten, and beaten, and we are all a bit touchy. Not to mention the inherent distrust of "new" people popping in with no intro's and asking questions we all know the answers to, but are tired of answering...no one knows what these laws entail, and how they effect us bette than do most of the guys here, including many lawyers.... To answer your question, I don't like the Thorsden stock, if I were going to buy, I would go fixed mag with all the evil features...FUAC and all liberals. Make them pee their pants, weld a fucking bayonet right to the lug... But that's just me... |

Stag Arms around a grand for a complete rifle you can easily put together a nice free floated carbine for less then that...but its up to you |
