I have a box of various loose cartridges in my possession.  I noticed a bunch of rifle rounds that I have no use for.  .32-40 and .38-55 marked on the brass.  Any HTF members want this?

Willing to bet fp1201 has at least one of those calibers.

Were I local I'd take the .32-40 for my collection, but it's not rare enough to be worth the effort of shipping it.

Out on yunder sandbar.

I don't have a case collection, just an accumulation. When I worked at the range, whenever I'd find something I didn't have I'd save one. I don't go out of my way to get them, so I sure wouldn't make someone else.

He's not hoarding it. He's just holding it.

This spring a friend was trying to get rid of some ammo he had for some rifles he THOUGHT he sold/was selling. He was going to throw it away if no one took it. So I did.
Earlier this month he got the one rifle back off consignment and decided to keep it. He posted looking to buy some ammo for it.
I told him I had some he could have and he was greatful... Totally forgetting that I'd gotten it from him earlier this year.

Caliber preference, like religion and politics, is one of those topics you just don't bring up around the dinner table

Actually I have a use for .32-40.  I have my late fathers model 94 chambered in that caliber.  It is basically a paper weight due to the obsolete caliber.  20+ years ago used up the last five rounds of ammo a few years before he passed away.  The ammo was about 40 years old at that time and still worked, much to my amazement.

I think our bromance can survive the test.

Ballistics are near identical, however Glock doesn't make a .41

Not many do, but then 10 MM itself is a semiauto unloved stepchild for many people.

Here is a fun fact!  Pulling hundreds of bullets is very time consuming .  I was with a friend who had a progressive press a few years back, and he helped me load up some SHTF ammo.  I shot a little bit of it, and it seemed hotter than what I was comfortable with.  It sat for a few years, and I pulled one and weighed the powder charge.  I was going for a "+p" load, but max for standard pressure was 6.1 grains.  These loads are more like 6.5-6.7.  I think the powder dispenser on his machine went loose or something.

So now I am about 200 down, with 300 to go.  230 grain Hornady xtp.  I'm looking forward to the piece of mind of not having 500 suicide rounds anymore.

6.8 is the starting load for a 180gn in 10mm.
