...that attacked a group of cops with a hatchet?

I find that a lot of times when something happens in NY, we don't really talk about it. I found out about the hatchet boy from GD.

In any case, seems like we're becoming a second Israel, where spontaneous attacks using various non-firearm weapons are common. Knives, hatchets, swords and cars/trucks are frequently used in committing these acts of terror. The only thing that somehow keeps these attacks short is Israel's saturation with security personnel. Plus, the populace is trained in how to react.

In NY, the populace has no idea what to do, the cops with guns are not trained and the rest of the people are disarmed by the government. This spells a recipe for disaster.
