I've made it my personal mission to attempt to order every time a knife pops up on woot, and then email them when it is denied based on zipcode.
Have sent dozens of complaints in the last few months.

Today, they have a machete up.

And the order went through.

So it appears that machetes are OK, but folding pocket knives are not.

Yeah, me too.

And then sometime earlier this year they changed their shipping policies to exclude virtually all of NY from ordering knives.

Which makes no fucking sense at all, since there are no restrictions at all outside of the five boroughs, and even there most items would be GTG.

So I emailed them and got back form letters, and back and forth and back and forth.  

Couple of months ago I made a thread about it, and I still keep ordering and getting the old sorry we can't ship to you, and I send them another email.

And then today, of all items, a machete goes through.  I had never tried to order a machete before, just the knives.  Dozens of them.

Go figure.  Amusing discrepancy in what they feel is OK to ship to me.
