Company spokeswoman Laura Pritchard said the problem, which affected all of its markets for several hours, started at 4:30 a.m. and was largely restored by 6 a.m. Oh the horror. |

Our connectivity at work on our MDTs is essentially cell based Its supposed to be connected in something like 95% of the county They sure do have a big definition of 5 %, because there are huge swaths that drop signal. Cell phones themselves aren't bad. I recall the days of driving to the nearest hilltop to get a signal or to get a signal that wouldn't get you a roaming charge ( remember those ? ) Those days don't exist anymore around here |

If my internet goes out, it takes out my extender so I'm walking to the hill top by my house to call anyone.
I vaguely remember roaming. I didn't get my first cell until around 2002. I honestly didn't see my first cell until 99/00 in nyc. |
