What kind of an animal can knock over garbage cans in Nassau county?  A big raccoon?  Or just neighborhood kids?

I just heard it but by the time I got out there to look there was nothing to see.

I opened this thread thinking it was going to be a cuomo topic.

It could be a South Shore Yetti. They're indiginous to an area south of Sunrise Highway but east of the Queens border.

Possums are big out here too. But only see them at night and they walk along a barrier or wall.

Raccoons everywhere.

I saw a small herd of them on Brookside Ave in Roosevelt on my way to work a couple months ago. 730 AM, broad daylight.

Black Bear?  Coyote?  If you do not have cameras, you may never know!
I never saw racoons where I used to live until the first night I had a DVR with cameras, then I saw three coons together checking out my garbage cans.
