seems like there is some interesting information floating around the internet today on another forum, so ill address it here, since i cant over there.
A new member on there seems to claim he has paid me a membership fee and is uspet because we are no longer online. I dont remember anyone who has paid a membership fee, or anything to long island tactical in over a year, not only have i searched paypal but I also searched the companies banking history. If you made a payment within the past year to me personally, or someone claiming to be Long Island Tactical please contact me, my attorneys and myself would love to hear about it. (Yes, I'm on all 3 and I know for a fact several others are) It realy doesnt help anything, we are a minority in ny. Wouldn't it make sense to pool resoruces instead of bitching about each other? |

That's the problem, it's not a two way street, we're only on the same side sometimes. (in one direction but not the other). The long Island shooting community (in terms of the internet) isn't an open community, it isn't inclusive. Because despite all the rhetoric "community" isnt what it's a out. It's business. Help me, great. Help you, no way. Other than the friction between this place and one forum, it's open. You can make mention of, talk about and link to all the other NY shooting related websites here. If you try that other places it gets deleted, the links removed/replaced. |

This just reminded me, I'll give you an interesting example.
This site is mine: http://www.LI-shooter.com Match dates , score and that's about it. No advertising, no memberships... costs me money and I get nothing in exchange. A public service as it were to the LI shooting community. No ads, no forum, nothing that should be viewed as "competition" for any other website. Now if you follow this URL registered a good deal later than the one above, you'll note that it goes somewhere else. http://wwwLIshooter.com Hmm... interesting. Must have something to do with "community" and "All on the same side" thing. I'm not making some wild slanderous claim here, it is what it is. Its been that way for a long long time, years maybe? How can you argue with that? Other than with DNS changes and denials of course. |
