THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I am launching the 2012 Character Band Aid Drive. Children should not have to get Blood Transfusions and Chemotherapy. IV needle sticks are painful and traumatic to deal with. To make it easier on them we are collecting NEW UNOPENED boxes of latex free character Band-Aids (examples:Dinosaurs, Cartoons, Comic books Heroes or any fun design) For donation to the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology centers at Cohen’s Childrens Medical Center in NY in honor of Liam’s remission here is Liam on the right (in remission from DBA) and friend (in remission from brain cancer) at the treatment center
and Hemby Childrens Hospital in Charlotte N.C. In honor of Bryson’s Fuel Charity Here is our new friend Bryson who has joined the drive
and my new friend Dillon fighting DBA as well (isolation following a risky/life saving bone marrow transplant)
Last year I collected over 2200 boxes for donation. We are looking at a september end date (Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month)
Sadly, they are running low. Which only shows the volume of pediatric cancer patients that are seen. My goal this year is to double that - yea that's right double. so lets make this happen. you can mail them to one of our drive coordinators Att: Stephanie/Band Aid Drive Coldwell Banker Residential, 5018 Expressway Dr. South Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. or drop them off if you are in Huntington (long island) at Sugarbeez Candy Store 326F Walt Whitman Road, Huntington Station, NY. 631-923-0190 ETA Campite Sportshop 1877 New York Ave. Huntington Station NY 631 271 4969 Southdown Carvel 210-C Wall Street, Huntington, NY. 11743 631 351 5818 More drop spots will come along. I will start talking to the ranges as well as firearms shops to assist in this drive. Let's make a difference in these kids lives. Thank you in advance Stay Safe and God Bless |

Is there any way to make a donation towards this drive if we're unable to get to one of the drop off spots? IM/email me and let me know. Thanks.

We are not looking for money. However if you wish to manke a monitary donation I would suggest St. Baldricks or Make a Wish (2 other charities I am involved with) https://www.stbaldricks.org - search Anthony Gorman or https://secure.wish.org/?Amount= Thanks |
