The old iron bridge over the Red river has finally closed. It's one of the spookiest things I have ever driven across.

A narrow, one lane bridge that was long past time for replacement.

Another piece of Texas history gone.

Hate to hear that. I have taken many motorcycle groups over that bridge for the experience.

I remember driving across it as a kid.  Don't guess I have thought about it since that time.

I had to drive it one last time. Sad to see it go.

I crossed it back in the day when the rail road tracks were still active on the left-hand side.  Quite the education for a 17-year-old on a dark stormy crossing.
