MY move is progressing. I am looking for a good bank in South Corpus, needs...free checking , no fees, low min. balance. Any comments on Plains Capitol Bank, First Community Bank, Texas Champion Bank ? Any other recommendations? Any help out there would be great. This is will highly unpopular, but we have been with Wells Fargo for two decades. They have always done us well. I am aware of the problem employees recently. There are multiple locations around Corpus. I have never used Frost Bank, but they have a good reputation. |

Seems like there is a NavyArmy bank on every corner, never used them except for some quick cash out of the ATM since they are abundant.
I love Navy Federal Credit Union, not sure if you have ever served, DOD contractor, or have a family member in the service, but if you do, I highly recommend. |

BBVA Compass is a good bank. 3 locations on Corpus.
They had free checking for a long time then switched to free if you do direct deposit. Im not sure what the deal is now as I've been direct deposit for a long time. So essentially it's always been free for me. |

I use Prosperity since it is a Texas bank. I also used to be a First Victoria before Prosperity swallowed them up.
