The mission was to fill a buck tag at Wild River Ranch. HiTechRanchers place.
The Bucks did not show for the party. Luckily, a couple of hogs and some raccoons joined in the fun. Once again, I was reminded of how critical shot placement is on large animals. Pretty sure that was not going to happen anyway, from the sound of things. |

Videoing deer at night is not illegal. Hogs and coons often hang around deer. I thought the video of the deer was interesting. |

Given that i am a firearms law and Texas gun trust attorney and i am hunting deer in February on a MLD 3 ranch, i probably know the rules about deer. But just because im a lawyer doesn't mean i know anything. |
