Shaun Rabb: Little Elm LEO was shot. With a high powered weapon(rifle)

SR updates: DCSO confirming officer taken by ground ambulance to Denton Regional Med CNTR. He was shot above the body armor line.

Actor potentially barricaded and not in custody. Unknown on hostages.

FOX 4 covering.

More Updates: Shot in the neck. Neighborhood waterview and turtle cove little elm

I'll take your word on it. I don't know him, he has no LEO insignia, is a 13'er and has a low post count. I was just trying to make sure he wasn't some schmoe reporting from his mom's basement.

He is a regular at the McKinney get together. He has always been straight with me and I don't see why he would make that up. He still could have bad info though.

From the reports I've heard, one of his neighbors called in a 'man with a gun' after seeing the guy in his front yard with a rifle.

They interviewed the caller on Fox4 this morning. The caller said the guy pointed his gun at them - so they went inside and called the cops.

I just seen across my newsfeed that there will be a memorial cruise and fundraiser for Detective Walker on Sunday Jan. 27th from 2pm-4pm. The meetup location is TBD right now, but the cruise will end at the Little Elm Police Department. If anyone in the area is interested, I will post more info as it becomes available
