Used the heater for the first time this morning.
The air handler had a small fire break out.

Had to use a fire extinguisher to put it out due to it's location.

Have not called anyone yet to see if it can be repaired or not.

Any info on cost for a decent replacement along with installation cost ?

Hate to go cheap but if I have to replace it right now then cheap is the only option.

I'm not an HVAC guy, but you're going to have to provide more information.  What do you have now, gas or electric, what model #?  Installation cost will likely vary based on location.

I have someone coming out tomorrow, earliest they could come out.

Looking at a $79 service fee just to check it out.
I'm expecting the worst so I won't be disappointed.

When it rains it seems pour sometimes.
