Recently laid off, looking for full time work. Local to the Corpus Christi area, overtime and travel okay (have passport as well so overseas is not out of the question.) Been in the oil and gas industry since 2010.

Level IIA Ultrasonic Thickness
Level II Magnetic Particle
Level II Penetrant Dye
Positive Material Identification certified as well.
TWIC in hand.

Any leads welcome.

Thanks all. Got an interview with a local guard company. Barely a fraction of what I used to make but with the potential hours, I *should* be able to make just a tad more than I did before per week. Temporary fix until a company gets back with me.

Good luck. There is work to be had, but you have to dig for it as opposed to stumbling into it like it was not long ago.

We are seeing personnel reductions in certain areas from this downturn. Roughly 3 rounds of layoffs so far, but I hope to keep my guys (and myself by extension) going until things pick up again.
