I know some of the other state sections have a regular get together to meet&greet and shoot.

Anyone interested in meeting at ETTS sometime to start our own?

We are meeting June 4th (Saturday). I'll get there when they open (8am) and get a nice sized tac-bay. I drive a OD Green Jeep and shouldn't be hard to find.

Range Info
Map Location

If you are not a member it's $30 to shoot all day with access to everything but the 1.2k meter range. Recommended that you bring your own water, paper targets, steel targets, and a staple gun. The bays will have movable target hangers.

After all the local meets I have put together my advice is post it up and see who shows. You might get three guys and then you might get 30. Prepare for a bunch to drop out or no show. Keep doing it till you get a regular crowd. If you have a spot were you can put together a group shoot I'm in.

Yes, their bays are all first come first served and its all big boy rules. Full auto welcome. $30 for non-members for a day.

I'm in. ETTS is awesome, I was out there today with a couple friends. It's easily the best range around, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a membership next time I'm there... probably next weekend.

ETTS is my Sons` "home range" where he trains for his PRS matches. He bounces from #1 to #2 in the country in this type of shooting. Patrick is the real deal out there and is a great guy.

I'm a member and will likely make it out the 4th. I usually try to make it down during the week as it's usually lots less busy.

Just a heads up, ETTS is usually pretty busy on any given weekend that it's not storming, so be prepared to wait for a bay/bench to open up.

Is there a little place near Maypearl called Five Points? Or did there used to be, does anyone know?

My neighbor had a farm just past Maypearl and waxahachie. It was beautiful with the main house on top of a ridge overlooking an Indian burial mound. I think thieves burned it down since previous thefts cleaned out all the guns!

I just saw this.

If we're in a bay, can we set our own steel up in there? I'll bring an MG and some cans. If you want to shoot an M16 just bring mil-spec Federal ammo or something.
