I spent 2 months there working back in 2004. It wasn't that bad then but things have changed. You speaky the spanish? |

You will be fine. Got plans? There is a sombrero Fest in Brownsville (20 mins away) kinda like a Mexican parade/state fair. There's a couple shooting ranges close by too
