I came away with an older High Standard riot gun from the Puerto Rico State Police. Cosmetically-challenged but good mechanicals. $116.00 OTD.
Same style as used by Steve McQueen in "The Getaway." 
They had a lot of Colt wheelguns and quite a few Gen 2 and 3 S&W semi's. Also a Bushmaster AR for under $500, plus 10% off on all of them. ETA: They put out pretty much the last of their sale handguns guns today. More Glocks and Gen 2 and 3 S&W's. They have one of the .40 Tacticals, and a stainless Colt 1911. I know they don't get much respect, but they have a G37 subcompact (.45 GAP) for under $300., not counting the 10% discount. The cartridge may be fading, but it would still be a fine large caliber carry piece. If you stock up on ammo it should last a long while, since it's not something you'll shoot a lot for fun. They still have at least one Smith 645. Most of the long guns have been picked clean. They did have a very clean blued Colt 1991A1, no idiot scratch. Did have.

I was in there at lunch today and all that is in there appear to be the remains of what is left of that big Puerto Rica Confiscation gun buy they have been working through for the past couple months.
What stood out to me was lots of really high mileage pump shotguns and revolvers, a pile of old gen 2 glocks, a post ban professional ordance plastic AR , some used core-15 ARs, a pair of blinged out gold and chrome Tarus PT92s, and some sort of hi-point 9MM plastic carbine, etc. The only gun I actually picked up to look at was a used Colt LE6940P for $1600ish. If live or work close to GT and/or are there to pick up something else. you it may be worth a peak inside to see if you can find your diamond in the rough. I went buy to pick up some parts and poked around while I was there but nothing jumped out and said "buy me". |

The Store Iin Garland is also having a 10% off used guns sale, and they have two cases full of used handguns. Lots of deals to be had. Some of the guns look rough but would clean Up nice and make for good shooters.

A cheap beater 870 and a 3rd gen S&W are always a good combo for travel / truck guns... |

I cant believe nobody has purchased the S&W 6926 (frame mounted decocker). $210, and then subtract 10%

Picked up a Gen 2 Glock 17 that looks barely fired for $261 in Dallas today. Grabbed a couple mags, some ammo, and an AR gas tube while I was there. Very friendly people.

I went by the Dallas/Garland store today. Usually I'm underwhelmed by generic used gun sales, but not by GT! They have two display cases stacked with used pistols. 10+ each G17 and G22 in various grades. Gen 2 G17 for $279 with some wear, $289 pretty clean (all prices with 10% more off). Gen 3 $319-349. Several M&P 40s. Bunch of older S&W autos down to $149 IIRC, but I don't know them so I didn't look much. Some revolvers, Sigs, Beretta maybe. Basically if you are looking for a good used pistol, this is the place to go. Long guns were mostly older pump shotguns, seemed pretty picked over. Colt 6920 for $1200ish, hah. They did have an FN SLP shotgun for $750 IIRC. Two Olympic ARs in .40S&W, again $750ish. |

I bought a very nice Sig P226R, 9mm that came from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. No holster wear, just a couple of nicks. The rails and barrel looked like it had been shot a lot without lubrication, but all internals are good. Took it out today and put 100 rounds thru it and it shoots sweet! $516 out the door.

Used counter in Dallas is still full. There are some decent prices on some stuff, other stuff looks rode pretty hard. Some decent Ruger revolvers at a fair price, a few Smiths. If you're in the market, it's worth a look, but I didn't find anything I had to have.

Got a Winnie 1200 for $135 And a remmy 870 police magnum for $225. Both are PR guns and look pretty rough, may trade or sell the Winnie |

I didn't see anything at the sale, but got a real nice barely used P220, box, and 2 mags. It also came with a unused in the box Sig 22lr conversion kit all for $680 a while back.

Plastic on the frames, wear, gouges ect. I'd love to have a clean gen 2 19 to go with my EDC gen 3 but for the price, $350 or so, it wasn't worth it. I paid that for my sweet ass gen 3 and it was in great shape. Did buy some shotties while I was there.

picked up a sweet nickel colt detective special from 63, need a little clean-up and oil, works great $135+tax!
