************************************************** *** AS OF JULY 2017 STORE WILL NOT BE RE-OPENING *** ************************************************** *** UPDATING TITLE TO REFLECT CURRENT MONTH *** ---------------------------------------- So, if ARFCOM were going to open a retail venue at the Canton Trade Days next month , what would you like to see there? Keep in mind if this were to happen, it would be the weekend of the July 4th weekend in order to celebrate our independence! ======= ETA : Some additional info: Times: Thursday : 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday : 8:00 am to 8:00 pm* Saturday : 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Sunday : 9:00 am to 5:00 pm [span style='color: green;'][span style='font-weight: bold;']* OFFICIAL HTF get together will be Friday evening, July 4th at ~6-8pm at the store, to be followed by a tailgate event in the parking lot and ending with the Canton fireworks display. Details will be posted as they become available. Yes, we will have all sorts of BFL merchandise including ARFCOM complete billet and forged rifles, new 3 gun edition glocks, and at least some of our 3 gun edition shotguns (for show and order, no transfers on location). We will have ammo- all we can get, and including .22LR. We will have giveaways, and we will have NV gear on hand to see, touch and try with representation from our various vendors. We hope to have interesting classroom sessions each month, with guest vendors/speakers. This will be a monthly occurrence, and we want to make sure we do and have enough to entice you to come out each month. Consider this a monthly [span style='text-decoration: line-through;']DFW North East Texas area ARFCOM get together, with party favors. Now, what else would you like to see there to make your visit more enjoyable? [span style='font-style: italic;']BTW- if you're NOT familiar with the venue, it is a huge flea market environment, perfect for the spousal units to spend the day. We are in the only fully air conditioned, heated, enclosed space there. Wine and food are always available in our building, tons of options around though out the rest of the event. It truly is a must see if you've never been. FYI : Our building is open late on Friday and Saturday evenings- rest of Trade Days shuts down at 5pm those days. Location: [span style='font-weight: bold;'] Canton Marketplace 1455 N. Trade Days Blvd. Highway 19 Canton, Texas 75103 Google Maps high level shot of the area. We're at the top right of the map (BIG BFL pointing to it) So we're right off highway 19, which is right off of 20, so easy to get to, and away from most of the large lots. We have parking at our building, and air conditioned trolley service that will take you to various other Trade Days areas (free) and back. There is a main entrance right in front of our space (North door), so easy to come in and out. Parking is $5 EVERYWHERE for Trade Days. Within the building, we are in the NW corner, easiest entrance is via the North door. |

BFL gear (shirts, hats, etc).
Hm, can't think of anything else off the top of my head. |

Canton is a long ways away from the DFW crowd. Bigjeep |

That sucks. I used to buy guns all the time at flea markets. Used to be my go to place for beater shotguns and ragged out .22s.

I guess you'll get me back down to First Monday again. I worked there most of my adolescent years running concession stands and spending all my money on junk.

My wife loves going to canton..this might entice me to go without taking cold medicine to cope with the masses of elderly and mobidly obese.

Sounds fun! I've never been to Canton, but have always wanted to go.

What time will you open? In the summer months I get there early (7:00 ish) and leave by 1:00 ish.
I drive from Grapevine and it only takes about an hour and 20 minutes or so. |

Honestly, I'd be more interested in the cheap "swag" type things (bumper stickers, tshirts, belt buckles, etc.) than guns, $500+ optics, and $2k+ night vision.

I'd be all over a Texas marked AR15.COM stripped lower. Maybe with a Goliad or Gonzales flag rollmark?

Will you guys be there from "sunup to sundown"? I work the whole weekend but could get out there later in the afternoon around 3 or 4.

We will be there- I believe friday and saturday are 8am-8pm in this building (9-5 Thurs & Sun) We should plan on a specific day/time for an official get together for those looking to just meet and greet though. It can either be lunch time Sat, Saturday evening, or sometime Sunday. Up to all of you that want to maximize meeting of other arfcommers. Quoted:
They should contract with someone for brand name ammunition. Arfmo or Arfmunition. There will be some- at least in 5.56mm. Working on .22LR next. |
