I was there on Saturday. I didn't notice any ado, but I was only there from 12noon - 2:30pm'ish. I do recall walking past one vendor in an open discussion with a customer about theft and "he's done that to me before", but I can't confirm if that conversation was related.

The only difference that separates a "vendor" and "patron" is about $50. I decided to sit on the other side one Market Hall show and realized how trusting "vendors" were with each other, leaving things out for anybody to take. I hope this thief wasn't one of the regulars.

Sad.
I used to comment on the honesty of gun owners. I could leave my 2000 buck Browning, right beside this old dude's 40k krieghoff special, go inside for lunch And both of us never doubted both our guns would be there when we came out of the clubhouse. |

I sold a gun part to a guy who was at the gun show that day. He told me a guy got arrested for stealing items from the table of other vendors.

OH yes there was, deffinatley. They gave him the walk of shame right through middle of the show in handcuffs. It was horrible and humiliating for him,lots of cherring clapping and yelling of obscenities towards him. This is a felony. His life is basically over.They found the bond arms derringer in his left sock, I cant imaine how any attorney could mount a credible defense of how a gun stolen minutes before wound up in HIS sock, but hey lots of attorneys are scum bags so you never know lol!
Whats really really sad to me is the fact I have known this man personally for 20 years, sold him many items. When someone you know and consider a friend does this, it kind of makes you fell like you cant trust anyone, ever! Moreso, I had a sig rifle stolen from me the weekend before at the rodeo gun show and this same "vendor" was present. Seems an un named person also was attempting to buy large quantities of magazines for the same rfile the next day from yet another vendor.....hmmmmmm. Thieves deserve what they get. If my rifle was to be returned, I personally will NOT PRESS CHARGES if it is returned immediately. If you are reading this sir.....you should consider this with great importance, you know what is levied against you ( i will not post all the other charges and information here ) and every bit of help you get you NEED DESPERATELY.... |
