i had one package that was never delivered, it was destroyed when a delivery truck or the 18 wheeler carrying it caught on fire. seller had to refund my money, i hope ups reimbursed him wholly for it.

train derailment for my package coming from the east coast. schedule delivery for today (Thurs) but now it says exception due to train derailment at barstow, ca.

Looks like it was a derailment in Ludlow, CA. Someone asked about it on UPS Facebook page and they said it affected 200,000 packages but didn't actually involve any of them.
