THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Hey everyone. On my first AR, apparently my barrel slipped while torqued down. I had to adjust my rear sight 27 clicks to the left to get it on center.
As you can see my feed ramps are off just slightly, not enough for feed issues but enough to put my front sight out of alignment.
So my question to you guys/gals is, is there a competent black rifle guns smith in these part to send it to fix it?

Where are you looking in SE Texas? This looks strange....maybe a barrel to extension issue...if I'm seeing it in the right perspective.

I'm just North of Tomball near Houston.

I have the tools.....

How would you fix that? I'm by no means an expert but how can the barrel turn unless the barrel nut is tightened so much that alignment pin on the extension has snapped or been jammed into the receivers slot so hard that it bent the aluminum. The fix might be more expensive than a new part swap....again, unless I'm way off.

You need to send that back to the manufacturer.

Did you build it or buy it? It sounds like you built it.
Talking out of my assignments here but couldn't you loosen the lockring(?), turn the barrel a smudge?
It looks like it's been fired; did it feed properly?

Second look, I think the barrel ramps don't match the upper ramps.

It has been fired and I didnt have any feed issues.
Could the feed ramps be fine and just the front sight is canted ?

That's a strong possibility. Mount up the rifle so it stays in position and use a piece of string to check the centerline from butt to muzzle along the top of the rifle. That should be able to tell you is anything is off. Is the front sight unit pinned or held in place by screws?

The front sight is pinned.
Side note, this is a dissy build so the front sight is not a functioning gas block.

Your alignment pin on the barrel extension is either misaligned or broken. Send the barrel back to the manufacturer. I've seen this once before, and the manufacturer fixed it for free, but YMMV depending on who made it.

This sounds right. You really need a serious barrel vise and moving the extension is no picnic.
