A tree blew down on Western Center west of 35. There's free water falling on my yard! |

I have no pool or sprinkler system- that's just washing kids, clothes and dishes. Trash isn't included in my bill either- that's just water and sewer. Last year the drought destroyed my yard. I planted again this year and have been watering, which kills me, but I am not losing my turf again. Anything that falls from the sky is water I don't have to buy. |

All I saw in south Arlington was a few minutes of heavy rain, and lot of lightning, although no close strikes. Some of the lightning lingering behind is covering nearly the entire sky. Would be a great photo op for people into that.

Power is out on my street here on the west side near Carswell. Trying to assess the damage, I had a limb fall and take the lines to my house out, can't really tell about the rest of the street. Lots of fallen limbs throughout the neighborhood as I drove in. Some of my neighbors have generators going......I'm reminded why I need to get one.

Power is still out in part of Saginaw and the surrounding areas. Apparently a power transmission tower buckled. There are trees snapped in half all over town. |

Still no power here. I ended up getting a cheap room around 5 this morning so I could get some sleep before work tonight. Just threw a bunch of ice in my freezer and big ice chest to salvage what food I could.
There is a limb about as big around as me sitting on the power lines in my back yard. |

I live in Saginaw as well, and fortunately we only had power knocked out for an hour or so... many residents had power finally kicked back on last night near 9pm.

I was driving home to RGV from Chicago last Monday. I stopped by Saginaw to pick up a receiver. I saw alot of trees and fences that were blown down. I also saw the same things by the TX/OK border. It must have been a wild sunday night in the area.

Neighbors down the street lost a large tree today...it fell and crushed the car parked in front of thier house and blocked the street for a while.
The whole neighborhood lost power again from about 0300 to 0500. I was pissed to cause I was watching a movie. ![]() |

Got up this morning and the ceiling in my garage came down, no water anywhere, just sheetrock all over the floor and my wifes car. Im sure last nights storm had something to do with it, but who the hell hangs ceilings with just nails?
