Ive got one that I put a Nikon Buckmaster on. It is a fun little rifle to shoot. Ive been wanting to trick it out, but just have not made it a priority to do so.

I have 15 of them. Never go to the range without at least one of them.

I searched around and found one at a local pawn shop for $75. I then replaced the stock and barrel, did some work to the trigger, and extended the mag release. Then to top it off I added a 4.5 - 16 power scope, yep a little over kill but it works

I just bought the wife one. She wants to put all new stuff on it, but in purple.
Hey if it gets her out back shooting with us more often. |

For knocking around, I prefer the Marlin model 60. I'm on my 3rd one of those.
I finally broke down and traded into a tricked out 10/22 last year. It's easily my most accurate rifle inside of 100 yards. I shoot it supressed 99% of the time, and it gets shot more than any other rifle I own. I love the thing. |

I got one at the end of last year as I got tired of being the only one around that didn't have a 22 plinker. It started as a Wal-Mart special with the stainless barrel, black receiver, & synthetic stock. It now has an OD green Hogue overmolded stock, Green Mountain black fluted bull barrel, and a Simmons Prohunter 4-12x40 scope. Only internal work I've done is a Volquarsten extractor and target hammer. Still getting used to the feel of the trigger with the new target hammer I just put in.

I remember when they were $89 - cheaper than my Sheridan pellet gun. I spent almost every day for YEARS as a kid playing with that gun and became very good at hitting 1 inch targets with open sights at 100 yards. I replaced my old WalMart special years ago after it was stolen and built up a platform with a TS threaded barrel. Simple gun to disassemble & clean but the problems I always had were finding reliable magazines. I bought a few Jamline 50 rounders but they loved to split on me. I haven't shot that gun in a long time and wonder if anybody has tried the new Ruger magazines? I've seen some good prices on these but haven't purchased any yet. On a good note, I raided the local WalMarts a few years ago and acquired a decent stash of cheap 22 ammo.
I've spoiled my kids & nephews so the 10/22 isn't near as fun as a full auto 22... |

![]() It's a Tapco Intrafuse stock that I crudely cut down. AAC Prodigy and a Bushnel TRS-25. Barrel is cut to 4.5", and cycles Federal bulkpack while staying subsonic. My other 10/22 is a 18.5" barrel on a wooden stock. I don't have any pics. |

Pawn shop 10/22 bought in 83 after my first one was stolen. Put a bull barrel and a cheap 4 power scope on it about 15 years ago. Can't begin to count the number of rounds through it over the years and it needs a new extractor. Thinking about finding another stock and putting the factory barrel back on it.

Stainless with the green laminated international stock. Everyone loves it. I don't shoot it very much, but it's never given me a lick of trouble. Between that and the Belgian made Browning 22 I have, I'm sure my kids will have quite an argument at my funeral just over my 22's.
