THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I am not sure what type of letter to write, or even the format to use. Any suggestions, or could you point me to examples and templates? Signal211, she's going to the Industrial Fire school next month. She's intelligent, motivated and hot. I'm waiting for the Polaroids to be developed. mm |

First point nails it. I've been in fire classes with students from other countries and they got the standard letter stating just about the same thing, unless something special stood out.

Say a bunch of stuff about how you admire Hugo Chavez, wear Che shirts, red is your favorite color and your plans to move to Zimbabwe. Use the word devils and capitalist pig a bunch too.

MM send me her name. She can not get the cert because of the DEM grant for that class. I would just write out something saying she attended and list the stuff that is written on the other certs that do come. I can help you get a copy of it to her if she is here in 3 weeks.
Also, a lot of the fire fighters down there come and train with us. They can not help the government situation they are in and often pay out of there own pocket to get some quality training. They are always so humble and thankful for any help we can give them to take back and share what they learned. So they can help the ones that need the help. |
