THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT 1) do you know of anyone who will be renting rooms and such around that time? and 2) would anyone, who owns or knows an owner/manager/etc be looking for manual/mechanical/retail/food labor? eg..hiring around that time i know, i know.. craigslist and such but i thought id try and ask here first before really looking through the ads thanks guys |

Houston is kinda big... Might want to tell people where you will be attending school so they can narrow your choices down some

You might try focusing your search on that side of Houston or you will be spending most of your time and money driving. We are on the opposite end so I don't know much about that part of town. I have not been in that area in some time, but it was a rough area not too long ago. I would consider looking for a place closer to I-10 or in the villages just south of 10. Maybe someone will come along with more recent experience in the area.
