Dude that was good times! I just want to say thanks again for having us out there! It was good to meet you and your bro, and the other guys that showed up. I've got a couple of vids that turned out alright I can post up too, unless anyone is shy about that kind of stuff

It was nice to finally be able to go cyclic with the mini! I'm probably good for next weekend, definitely the weekend after and probably the one after that.

Hope your crazy neighbor lady enjoyed it as much as we did!

Sorry, I couldnt make it today, just too many projects around the house that had to be taken care of.

I am good for any of the future Saturdays,  the 8:00 Am start time is going to be the hardest  part.  Getting up at 6:00 AM on a day that I don't have to work is pretty tough.

How late did you all shoot to today?

Thanks

James

Absolutely had a great time today!  Definitely made my weekend.

For me, the 26th will be better.  I have my best friend and his wife coming in next weekend for my wife's birthday.  No way I could get away.  I'll bring that second pavilion out so we can set it up too.  Maybe we can use one for the weapon tables to keep guns/ammo from getting so hot in the sun?  Just a thought.

And definitely, bring camp chairs, guys!  When things were wrapping up there at the end, I knew many were wanting to relax a bit.

Me too! I just happen to have a little tannerite begging to be put out of it's misery!

Good idea on the camp chairs Dan. And where did you get that pavilion from? I might need to get one of those.

Tannerite??  Wow.  You guys know my last name is Tanner?  Go figure.

The pavilion was about 80-85 from Walmart.  It's the FirstUp brand.  I highly recommend it, as my last one performed flawlessly for two years of use.  We took it out to the lake about once every 3 weeks during the summers and used it for other outings as well.  The only reason I bought a new one is because of the plastic takedown catch broke.  I can probably get a replacement part, just didn't want to bother with it at the time.  They also make 12x10 ones and I've seen bigger ones from other brands.  www.hutshop.com - These guys have some that are 10x27 and 12x20 that may work better for a gun bench style cover or just so we can be like lizards and hide from the sun.  I'm all for pitching in for something like this or something more permanent.

I do like the camo netting option as well, but it can still be quite a pricey option from what I've seen.  Here are the first hits I got and it shows some high prices for the netting: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (number 5 does offer USED netting, which may work best for $ concerns).  Then, it's a matter of stringing it up, and I'm not sure how we'd go about that.  BUT, if we can set it up over the entire firing line on back, it would be a great alternative to pavilions!

Not all of the knives they list have it as an option, but I'm sure if you ask customer service to do a combo edge on it, it can be done.

Suckiness. I'm out of pocket for the next 2 weekends. Got a surprise b-day party for my cousin on the coast this coming weekend, then my wife and I are going to see Journey w/ Heart in Houston the weekend after.

You know I'll be back out there ASAP!

B - you and Kevin need to name the range and get some shirts made (I'm voting for the using the name of the subdivision behind you - what was it again?). My bro'-in-law does screen printing and can help with a design. Let me know if you are interested.

How about "Crazy Lady Range" and we have a likeness of the crazy lady with a phone calling 911 and saying "It's getting pretty intense out here, rounds are flying overhead... and I think they're cooking meth!"

Will all that fit on a shirt?
